Investigations were required into the nature and extent of a diesel spilled which occurred in a QLD national park. Works involved design of all field sampling programs for soil, water, soil vapour and surface waters potentially impacted by the spill. These investigations lead to the design of a remediation plan which was implemented by the client and supervised by ENV, including validation works and reporting. Due to the works being commissioned in response to a clean-up notice issued by Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES), all reports and works were required to be submitted and approved by DES.
