ENV Solutions was engaged to address excess leachate at a flood-impacted landfill site. We developed a mobile treatment plant that evolved into a highly optimised Biological Leachate Remediation (BLR) system, successfully treating 41.69 million litres of leachate. Our solution not only met stringent discharge standards but also generated $16.59 million in cost savings over 2.25 years. This innovative and environmentally responsible system significantly reduced environmental impacts and positioned BLR as a scalable, nationwide solution for landfill leachate management.
