Flex Days:

At ENV, if a team member is requested to work excessive but billable hours, a paid day off in the form of a Flex Day may be offered. These Flex days are intended to be used as soon as practically possible after they are accrued to facilitate Work Life Wellness. Taking a Flex Day may be requested by either a director or the team member (employee). A Flex Day can only be taken as a whole day off. If a client requests site attendance on a weekend, team members are to be paid overtime at time-and-a-half for all rostered hours. Any weekend work must be pre-approved to be eligible for paid overtime. When a work week includes weekend work paid as overtime, these hours are excluded from Flex Day calculations. Flex Days are allocated following director review of timesheets. Once approved, Flex Days are accrued via the payroll system.

Rostered Day Off:

In line with ENVs leave policy, some ENV team members have a monthly RDO as part of their employment contract. If you are entitled to an RDO, you will need to coordinate your regular RDO within your team so that the workload can be managed by team members who are in the office. RDOs are intended to be a set day each month (e.g., third Thursday) to facilitate coordination of work and availability. As with the flex day policy, RDOs are designed to facilitate Work Life Wellness and are accrued monthly for each full month you work.

Best Life:

We want you to live your Best life! As a new inclusion to the ENV Ecosystem, the Best life leave option refers to a team member taking unpaid time to tick a few things off their bucket list.For some, this may mean taking an extended period to travel and see a new country. For others, it may mean taking time off to learn a new skill, study, sport, take additional parental leave or achieve a life goal. Whatever it may be, we believe this is crucial to the bigger picture and team wellness. If the timing is right, it works with your team and aligns with ENVs values – come to the directors with a proposal and we can put in place a plan to get the ball rolling so you can live your best life and work at ENV.
