Employee Assistance Program – Counselling Hotline/Services

Professional and confidential counselling services are provided to ENV employees by Acacia under a dedicated Employee Assistance Program (EAP) (www.acaciaconnection.com). ENV’s Employee Assistance Program is a confidential counselling and support service to help employees deal with personal or work-related problems in a positive way. 

Our EAP provides up to 2 sessions of short-term counselling to each employee per year.

All of your contact with Acacia is strictly confidential; the only time ENV may know you have attended is if you volunteer the information to us or give Acacia EAP written consent. Below are some of the areas where employees and an immediate family member may benefit from accessing the counselling service:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Relationship and marriage difficulties
  • Family and parenting issues
  • Managing grief or loss
  • Illness adjustment and management
  • Stress management
  • Addiction and substance abuse
  • Work related stress
  • Sleep disorders
  • Dietician support
  • Eating disorders
  • Domestic violence
  • Mental illness
  • And any other issues you may be faced with in your work or personal life.

How do I Access Acacia EAP Services?

Acacia EAP operates 24 hours a day to be available to assist employees. You can access confidential counselling by:

Health Practitioner Referral

In addition to the Acacia EAP, ENV offer additional mental and emotional support to team members using a referral from their own healthcare practitioner.

Each employee may claim up to two (2) face to face referred sessions per year.
These must be referrals to a medical professional from an employee’s own healthcare practitioner.

In order to maintain confidentiality, please use WEEL and in the comment section write “emotional wellness – referral”.  Alternatively, should you prefer to maintain complete anonymity with respect to accessing the service, please speak to one of the Directors.
